Washington, D.C. – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Garland W. Gantt, III joined the firm in Washington, DC. He is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Commercial Finance Practice.

With the addition of Gantt, the practice group has hired 11 attorneys, across seven offices, in five states since the start of 2022. Gantt is responsible for all aspects of closing real estate financing transactions and has significant experience with the full range of commercial loan products.

A former Division I basketball player, Gantt seeks to provide the highest quality service through teamwork and a collaborative, partnership approach with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. He also uses his experience and training to help others and serve his community, including providing pro bono services to Bright Beginnings, a D.C.-based nonprofit that provides support to children and families experiencing housing instability, and mentoring law students at his alma mater, Howard University School of Law.
