Carlton Fields Adds Property and Casualty Insurance Attorney, Lauren R. Silk, in Miami

Miami, Fla. – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Lauren R. Silk has joined the firm in Miami as an associate in the Property and Casualty Insurance practice group.

Silk represents insurance clients in complex coverage disputes. She has experience representing insurers and insureds in a wide variety of coverage and general liability matters. She handles all aspects of litigation, including drafting dispositive motions; preparing coverage opinion letters; advising on matters including insurance coverage, general liability, and construction law; compiling discovery responses and propounding discovery requests; preparing deposition summaries, status reports, and initial case assessments for claims adjustors; and attending hearings.

Silk received her J.D., cum laude, from University of Miami School of Law, where she served as an articles and comments editor for the Inter-American Law Review. She received her B.A. from Duke University.
