Carlton Fields’ Roger S. Kobert Appointed Chair of The Florida Bar International Litigation & Arbitration Board Certification Committee

Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Shareholder Roger S. Kobert was appointed chair of The Florida Bar International Litigation & Arbitration Board Certification Committee. He will serve a one-year term.

The committee administers the process of identifying lawyers who have the special knowledge, skills, and proficiency, as well as the character, ethics, and reputation for professionalism, to be properly identified to the public as board certified in international litigation and arbitration. Kobert has served on the committee since 2018.

Kobert is a trial attorney with more than 30 years’ experience representing foreign and domestic businesses, governments, and individuals in litigation and appeals. He also serves as a U.S. law expert witness in foreign court proceedings, advises foreign governments on matters of U.S. law, and leads cross-border, multinational, and domestic dispute resolution teams.
