Jin Liu Named Chair of Tampa Downtown Partnership

TAMPA, FL – Carlton Fields attorney Jin Liu was installed as board chair of the Tampa Downtown Partnership. She will serve a one-year term, ending in June 2024. Liu and her fellow officers were announced at the Tampa Downtown Partnership’s 37th Annual Meeting.

“Downtown’s different neighborhoods are all seeing new investment, new residents, and new places to have fun. This is a pivotal time for our city, when we can all work together to shape the path this growth will take,” said Liu.

Liu is a shareholder with Carlton Fields, where she chairs the firm’s Development Industry Group. She was recently elected as a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and named a “BusinessWoman of the Year” honoree by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

A private, membership-based not-for-profit comprised of companies, organizations, and individuals, the Tampa Downtown Partnership prioritizes advocacy, networking, and education related to Downtown Tampa for the Tampa Bay region, with events and programs. Through an annual contract with the city of Tampa, the Tampa Downtown Partnership administers the Special Services District. In addition to Tampa’s Downtown Guides and Clean Team, the Tampa Downtown Partnership serves Downtown Tampa through marketing, business development, transportation, advocacy, public space activation, planning, and beautification.
