Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Recognizes Carlton Fields With 2026 Pro Bono Award
TAMPA, FL – The Thirteenth Judicial Circuit’s Pro Bono Committee has named Carlton Fields as a recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Pro Bono Service by a Law Firm Award. The award recognizes firms that made a significant contribution to pro bono legal services in 2025.
Carlton Fields was nominated by Crossroads For Kids, a nonprofit and valued partner of the firm since Crossroads’ founding in 2012. Over the past decade, nearly 20 Carlton Fields attorneys have represented children and young adults referred by judges in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. In 2025, Carlton Fields' Tampa office provided 4,062.5 hours of pro bono legal services, supporting disadvantaged children in Hillsborough County across a wide range of matters, including dependency, delinquency, criminal, and other legal proceedings. The firm regularly invites Crossroads to present at lunch-and-learn programs to educate attorneys about the needs of vulnerable youth and recruit new volunteers.
