Carlton Fields’ Jin Liu Named President of Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Tampa Bay
TAMPA, FL – Carlton Fields shareholder Jin Liu was named president of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Tampa Bay (APABA-TB). She was sworn in February 12 at the APABA-TB’s Inaugural Lunar New Year Gala & Board Installation event.
Liu represents real estate investment trusts, national builders, resort developers, other developers of large commercial and residential projects, pension funds, and other institutional investors in the purchase and sale of both improved and unimproved property, business planning and implementation, transaction structuring, equity investment, and a variety of financing transactions. She is a bicultural and bilingual attorney who received legal education in both the United States and China. Liu chairs the firm’s Development Industry Group.
The APABA-TB is a voluntary bar association of legal professionals who serve the greater Tampa Bay area. APABA-TB is an affiliate member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, which represents more than 50,000 attorneys, judges, and law students across the United States and Canada. Liu was one of the organization’s founding members in 2006.
