Carlton Fields’ Kathleen McLeroy and Mac McCoy Receive Women Advocate Awards From ABA Business Law Section

TAMPA, FL – Kathy McLeroy and Mac McCoy were recognized by the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section for their contributions to the advancement of women in the legal profession.

McLeroy was presented with the 2024 Women Business & Commercial Advocates Award, citing her distinguished career as a business litigator as well as her leadership in the legal profession and in her community. McCoy received the 2024 Ally Award from the Women Business and Commercial Advocates Subcommittee in recognition of his allyship with female litigators and commitment to furthering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the legal profession.

The WCBA is a subcommittee of the Business and Corporate Litigation Committee of the ABA. It provides a forum for attorneys to support the advancement of female business litigators, and for said litigators to network and learn from prominent female business lawyers and judges. The committee also provides mentoring and programming geared toward female business advocates.
