Gene Rossi Quoted in The Washington Post: “FBI Says Trayon White Took Bribes on Tape. Convicting Him May Still Be Hard.”

Gene Rossi was quoted in a Washington Post article titled “FBI Says Trayon White Took Bribes on Tape. Convicting Him May Still Be Hard.” The article discusses a 37-page affidavit alleging that D.C. Council member Trayon White, Sr. accepted tens of thousands in bribes, all of which was recorded on camera.

Assuming the affidavit is accurate, Rossi expects the prosecution to prevail. “You have a tape recording. You have a video, and you have photos,” he said. “And those three are all wrapped in a bow by a cooperator. So you can’t do any better than that if these allegations are true.”
