Mac McCoy Appointed Chair of ABA Business Law Section

TAMPA, FL – Carlton Fields’ Mac McCoy was appointed chair of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section.

The Business Law Section is the largest section of the ABA, with a global network of more than 30,000 professionals. The section aims to support its members through educational resources while developing and improving the practice of business law.

McCoy is a seasoned and pragmatic counselor and litigator with extensive experience as a U.S. magistrate judge, business litigator, and settlement facilitator adept in all aspects of federal and state civil litigation and dispute resolution. Passionate about evolving legal practices, he publishes and speaks prolifically on federal practice and civil procedure, class actions, e-discovery, mediation, legal ethics, access to justice, and professional development.
