Mark Neubauer Named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2025 Leaders of Influence

Los Angeles, CA – Carlton Fields shareholder Mark Neubauer was named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2025 “Leaders of Influence: Litigators and Trial Attorneys” list. This annual list recognizes the top lawyers in Los Angeles based on their legal skill, recent successes, and meaningful contributions to the Los Angeles community.

Over the course of more than 45 years in practice, Neubauer has secured significant litigation victories for some of the world’s most prominent companies, successfully defending them against multimillion-dollar claims. He has handled numerous jury and bench trials in both state and federal courts, concentrating on complex litigation in areas such as commercial, securities, antitrust, real estate, employment, and entertainment law. Known for his client-focused philosophy and strategically aggressive approach, Neubauer has built a reputation for delivering outstanding results — earning widespread recognition and multiple awards for his work.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Neubauer has made a meaningful impact through pro bono litigation that has improved the lives of underserved Californians. He played a key role in a class action lawsuit challenging harmful practices at underperforming schools in Southern California and the Bay Area. The case led to a court-ordered mandate for immediate reforms, a student-focused settlement, and ultimately the passage of Assembly Bill 1012 in 2015.

As the founding managing shareholder of Carlton Fields’ Los Angeles office, Neubauer was pivotal in establishing and growing the firm’s California footprint. Under his leadership, the office has attracted top-tier trial talent and helped enhance the firm’s standing throughout the region.
