Overview

Alicia Bozich is a litigator with nearly 20 years’ experience representing clients in state and federal courts through all phases of civil litigation, including trial. She has participated in more than 100 civil trials and has handled both state and federal appeals.

Alicia’s litigation practice includes commercial disputes, business torts, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, contracts, creditor’s rights matters, and disputes relating to real property. She also has extensive trial court experience representing investors, lenders, and loan servicers in contested mortgage foreclosures and consumer finance litigation. She has represented loan servicers in both state and federal court on claims involving the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Truth in Lending Act, and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act.

Alicia’s prior experience includes representing a broad range of clients in litigation matters, including defense of product liability claims and complex commercial transactions. She has also represented and advised financial institutions, leasing companies, receivers, commercial landlords, manufactures, suppliers, employers, and professionals.

Experience

  • Citrus Park Mall Owner, LLC V. Master Collision Repair, Inc., No. 2D2024-1776 (Fla. 2d DCA May 21, 2025). Per curiam opinion affirming trial court’s grant of summary judgment against claims of defendant who sought to expand the scope of a recorded restrictive covenant to preclude client’s proposed use of its property in contravention of Florida law that provides that restrictive covenants are disfavored and will be strictly construed in favor of the owner’s free and restrained use of the real property and against party seeking to enforce the restriction.
