Michael advises investors, Fortune 500s, and startups on global data privacy and security risks inherent in new technology adoption, implementation, and development. Michael also drafts and negotiates specialized agreements enabling domestic and cross-border data transfers.

Michael also has experience representing emerging and growth-stage companies with debt and equity financings and merger and acquisition transactions.

Michael is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a certified information privacy professional (CIPP/E/US) and certified information privacy manager (CIPM).
