Overview
Jacob Duval's practice focuses on construction law and litigation. Jacob represents general contractors, subcontractors, homebuilders, and manufacturers in a variety of matters including construction defects, construction liens, and payment and contract disputes. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jacob worked in the construction industry after graduating from the Rinker School of Construction Management at the University of Florida. His education and experience on large and small-scale construction projects helps him guide clients through the challenges they navigate on a day-to-day basis.
While in law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Jacob worked as a judicial intern for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. During his third year, Jacob served as president of Florida Blue Key and was inducted into the UF Hall of Fame.
