Ryan Davis

Ryan Davis is responsible for the direction and management of the firm’s strategic public relations including media relations, internal communications, crisis communications, and social media. Serving as a firm spokesperson, he works closely with the CEO and shareholders to raise and maintain the firm’s profile in national, regional, and local press; provides media training to lawyers; and supports firmwide business development initiatives by identifying thought leadership opportunities and promoting client successes.

Ryan has 15 years of communications experience, including more than 10 years in the legal industry. Prior to joining Carlton Fields, he held public relations positions with three Am Law 100 firms. In these roles, he developed and implemented targeted media relations plans for specific firm practice groups, offices, and client matters including high-profile litigation, deal closings, and U.S. Supreme Court victories.

Before focusing on the legal industry, Ryan worked for a global public relations agency on behalf of the U.S. Army. He began his career with a national political campaign committee and on Capitol Hill in the U.S. Senate.
