Caitlyn Holuta represents property and casualty insurers in a wide range of coverage counseling and litigation matters, focusing on complex litigation, insurance coverage, risk mitigation for corporate clients, financial services litigation, and corporate investigations.
Caitlyn’s experience also spans a range of litigation, including representing public and privately held companies in federal and state court in complex litigation regarding the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, insurance coverage defense, breach of contract, antitrust class action defense, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and negligent misrepresentation, and bankruptcy claims. In addition, Caitlyn has counseled clients regarding litigation risk mitigation, SEC and DOJ investigation responses, compliance obligations, and other investigations.
Caitlyn maintains an active pro bono practice, including helping secure a landmark victory for underfunded Pennsylvania school districts in William Penn School District v. Pennsylvania Department of Education, winning an acquittal for a Louisiana man unconstitutionally convicted by a non-unanimous jury, and representing clients through the Criminal Justice Act.
