She gained litigation experience through work with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office in the Business and Complex Litigation Division, where she played an instrumental role in co-drafting an opposition to class certification in a high-stakes case, leading to a favorable Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling.
Prior to joining the firm, Emily gained experience supporting litigation matters across business, class action, and insurance-related issues. She also engaged in public interest and community service work with UCLA's El Centro Legal Clinic and the American Civil Liberties Union.
