Melissa Murrin represents a diverse range of clients in complex construction disputes and litigation. She also advises clients on contractual obligations, drafts a variety of legal documents, and handles mediations, depositions, and hearings. Her prior experience includes managing complex civil litigation, including construction disputes, HOA and condominium matters, foreclosure actions, post-judgment collections, corporate advisement, bad faith insurance claims, and loan workouts.
Originally from Newfoundland, Canada, Melissa earned her bachelor’s degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland before obtaining her law degree from the University of New Brunswick. She gained valuable experience clerking at the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador and working at a full-service law firm in Ontario. After relocating to Florida, she pursued her U.S. legal education, graduating first in her class from Florida Coastal School of Law.
