Overview

Saron Musa is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on real property litigation. She has a strong background in drafting legal documents, managing complex litigation processes, and conducting discovery.

Previously, Saron interned at the Georgia Advocacy Office and in Home Depot’s in-house legal department, assisting with risk analysis and litigation research.

Experience

  • Obtained order granting final summary judgment in favor of title insurer and against insured on insured’s claim that an encroachment of pilings onto adjacent property was not “shown” on the insured’s survey, notwithstanding that the survey graphically depicted the west edge of the improvements vis a vis the west boundary of the property both directly (arrows and measurements) and by means of offset lines and the pilings were within that area although not themselves specifically depicted on the survey. Light Waves, LLC v. First American Title Insurance Co., No. 3:24-cv-00138 (N.D. Fla. Sept. 23, 2025).
  • Following nonbinding arbitration award in favor of bank client, secured partial final judgment in favor of bank for all counterclaims, including fraudulent inducement and tortious interference with contract, and affirmative defenses existing between client and subordinate lender. Partial final judgment included finding that bank client had a first priority mortgage interest in the subject real property pursuant to express terms of a subordination agreement between the parties. Intracoastal Bank v. Southern Oaks Senior Living Care, LLC, No. 2024-CA-003171 (Fla. 20th Cir. Ct. Aug. 29, 2025).
