Overview
David Wilson is developing his practice in business litigation. As a summer associate with the firm, he contributed to both litigation and appellate matters.
David came to the practice of law after spending nearly a decade as a sportswriter across Florida, including five years with the Miami Herald. There, David covered sports at all levels, from high school football games in the heart of the Miami community to Super Bowls, Stanley Cup Finals, and Formula One races. His coverage of the Florida Panthers’ first Stanley Cup and Brian Flores’ lawsuit against the NFL were award-winning, and he also contributed to the Herald’s Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage of the Surfside condominium collapse. David’s byline has also appeared in The Bradenton Herald, at MLB.com, and in The New York Times.
David attended law school at the Florida International University College of Law, where he graduated third in his class and summa cum laude. During law school, he was a member of FIU’s moot court team and a research assistant in FIU’s Death Penalty Clinic, and a judicial intern to the Honorable Robin S. Rosenbaum of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
