Data Security: Telehealth’s Achilles Heel?

Carlton Fields cybersecurity and privacy attorney Patricia M. Carreiro was quoted in a MedPage Today article about the increased risk of cyberattacks in the telehealth field during the COVID-19 pandemic. Carreiro recommended that health care providers conduct a HIPAA risk assessment and use the results to update their policies to better protect patient data.
