Tom Conner Quoted in Law360: “BlackRock Filing Ignites New Hope for Bitcoin ETF Approval”

Tom Conner was quoted in a Law360 article titled “BlackRock Filing Ignites New Hope for Bitcoin ETF Approval.” The article discusses the recent filing by Nasdaq requesting to list BlackRock’s bitcoin ETF and whether the SEC will reject the application — as it has repeatedly done in the past with other issuers — noting its concern that the bitcoin spot market is not sufficiently resistant to manipulation.

"If BlackRock and the other funds are able to convince the SEC that the underlying spot markets have evolved, and they are now so connected to the futures market that bad guys will be caught through the surveillance agreement, then maybe they get approved on that basis," Conner stated.
