Heather Jonczak, Trish Carreiro Appointed to Greater Miami Chamber Leadership Roles
MIAMI, FL – Heather Jonczak was appointed as chair of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Real Estate Committee, while Trish Carriero was named vice chair of the Technology and Innovation Committee. Both will serve one-year terms ending in June 2027. Upon completing her term, Carriero is slated to serve as chair the following year.
Jonczak provides legal counsel to public and private owners, developers, contractors, sureties, and other construction professionals across all phases of construction projects. She also represents clients in complex construction disputes and litigation, including contract claims, design and construction defects, delay and impact claims, surety bond disputes, construction liens, and insurance coverage matters. Her experience includes matters involving stadiums, ballparks, convention centers, health care facilities, high-rise condominiums, mixed-use developments, hotels, commercial office and retail space, and museums.
Carreiro is an experienced data lawyer focused on minimizing risks related to data collection, use, transfer, storage, and disclosure. She holds multiple International Association of Privacy Professionals certifications, including AIGP, CIPP/US, CIPM, and FIP, and is a former multi-term co-chair of the IAPP South Florida chapter. She serves as chair of Carlton Fields’ Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice.
