Overview
Lauren Gandle is a transactional health care attorney who advises hospitals, health systems, and physician groups on a broad range of health care transactional and regulatory matters.
Lauren's transactional practice centers on contract drafting and negotiation as well as health care transactions on behalf of providers across the care continuum. Lauren assists clients with reviewing, negotiating, and drafting a range of agreements, including professional services agreements, management services agreements, employment agreements, business associate agreements, medical director agreements, call coverage agreements, and physician recruitment agreements. She also works with clients on mergers and acquisitions to advocate for their strategic and operational objectives while navigating the unique legal framework that governs the health care industry.
In addition, Lauren advises clients on federal and state health care compliance matters, with a particular emphasis on the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and applicable state fraud and abuse statutes. She also advises on privacy and security obligations under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), helping organizations develop and implement compliant policies and practices.
