Overview

Jason Long’s practice focuses on appellate and complex litigation matters. Before joining the firm, Jason served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jamie R. Grosshans of the Florida Supreme Court and the Honorable John W. Broomes of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas. In those roles, he worked on matters involving civil and criminal litigation, appellate jurisdiction, extraordinary writs, and complex motions practice. He also assisted in drafting judicial opinions and memoranda addressing procedural and substantive legal issues. Jason’s clerkship experience in both federal trial and state appellate courts informs his approach to written advocacy and litigation strategy.

Jason earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Business and Finance Law Review and president of the Moot Court Board. He also holds an M.A. in economics from Clemson University.
