Overview
Charlisa Odom practices labor and employment law with a focus on management-side defense, representing employers in various aspects of labor and employment in state and federal litigation. Charlisa routinely represents and defends employers against charges of discrimination involving claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wage-and-hour disputes filed before federal and state agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Florida Commission on Human Relations. She also has experience assisting employers in employee wage garnishment matters in Florida.
Charlisa’s experience includes drafting employment policies and handbooks, conducting investigations, deposition witness preparation, attending depositions, motion and discovery practice, attending hearings and mediation, and participating in trial.
