Stephen Beke

Senior Counsel

Overview

Stephen Beke has extensive litigation experience in complex individual and class cases. His experience includes securities and M&A litigation, shareholder derivative actions, antitrust litigation, contract disputes, SEC investigations, securities fraud, copyright litigation, patent, proxy battles, product liability, and international law. He also has experience covering personal injury, insurance bad faith, medical malpractice, employment law, class actions, privacy, entertainment, and business litigation.

Stephen honed his litigation skills over the past decade working for some of the world’s largest law firms in New York and the San Francisco Bay Area and for companies such as Google, Merck, Bank of America, IBM, and many other Fortune 500 corporations.

He is adept at simplifying complex legal and factual issues to their essence, so they are easily understood by judges and juries alike. Prior to attending law school, Stephen worked as a Hollywood screenwriter, and, in 1995, co-wrote a feature film bought by Paramount Pictures. He now uses his ability to capture an audience to craft compelling narratives to advance his clients’ positions, with an eye toward engaging storytelling and creative thinking.
