Overview
Michael Zilber’s practice focuses on complex commercial real estate and finance transactions. He represents a variety of clients including landlords, tenants, developers, institutional lenders, and individual investors.
His experience also includes handling various litigation matters including real estate-related litigation involving disputes concerning leases, property claims and foreclosures, and general litigation such as claims of breach of contract, tortious interference with business relationships, fraud, and negligent misrepresentation.
During law school, Michael was an active member of the University of Miami Law Review and the Charles C. Papy Jr. Moot Court Board, winning the University’s John T. Gaubatz Moot Court Competition and the Humberto Peña Best Advocate Award. Michael also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Adalberto Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and to the Honorable Beth Bloom of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
